01 / REPAIR AT THE SHOP

Find out what it takes to fix your vacuum.

We inspect your machine, check the parts it needs, and discuss the repair with you.

01

Tell us what changed

Let us know about weak pickup, a noisy motor, a brush that will not turn, or damage to a hose, belt, or switch. Tell us when you first noticed it.

02

Have the machine checked

Bring the vacuum and the attachment that has the problem. We can inspect its condition and check which replacement parts are available.

03

Compare repair and replacement

We provide a free in-store repair estimate. You can weigh the repair cost against the condition of the vacuum and compare new machines at the shop.

Repair or replace

Is your vacuum worth repairing?

Vac Shack can inspect your vacuum and provide a free in-store repair estimate. The decision depends on the fault, the condition of the rest of the machine, available parts, and repair cost. Bring it to our Festus shop so you can compare those details with the cost of a replacement.

A worn belt, damaged hose, full bag, or clogged filter may need a different fix from a failed motor. If you are unsure what is wrong, bring the whole vacuum rather than ordering a part from the symptom alone.

02 / WHAT TO BRING

Bring the vacuum and the parts you use with it.

A hose or floor attachment can cause a problem that looks like a fault in the vacuum. Bring the affected pieces so we can check them together.

  • The vacuum and power cord
  • The hose, wand, and affected attachment
  • Any loose or broken pieces
  • The complete model label or a clear photo
  • A description of what stopped working

For routine replacements, visit our bags, belts, filters, and parts counter. If your vacuum is built into the house, call about central vacuum service.
